Miss West Africa International IV - Maria Sawaneh Is A Dream Come True

Our beautiful queen is just something isn't she? Maria's victory show the importance of supporting your country even if they compete in a foreign Miss West Africa. Maria's Gambian roots solidified twice the chance of Gambia carrying the crown.

This has now put a Miss West Africa crown in the hands of Gambia. Maria, formally Miss West Africa Germany 2012, has now been upgraded to Miss West Africa International IV, and now represents the whole of West Africa. We encourage you all to give her as much support as possible.

Maria Sawaneh Scoops The Title of All Titles - Behold Miss West Africa International IV

There is a new MISS WEST AFRICA INTERNATIONAL QUEEN, Her Name is Mariah Sewenah, and she is Gambian, based in Germany. Her schedule is looking very busy already. Get ready 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In an incredible night at the National Auditorium in Cape Verde, after a hotly contested event, the judges came to their decision a few hours ago and announced to the World the result for Miss West Africa International 2013: 2nd Runner-up was HAWA KAMARA ( MWA Sierra Leone)
1st Runner-up was ZALIA MAIGA (MWA Mali)
and the New Miss West Africa International is MARIA SAWANEH (MWA Germany, representing Gambia)

The undoubted highlight of the African Nations Cup in South Africa has been the performances of the Cape Verde football team in their first ever tournament appearance, who after progressing magnificently to the Quarter-Finals were unluckily beaten via a controversial penalty decision and a injury time goal last Saturday. Today they returned to Praia to a heroes welcome, and amongst the dignatories to greet the Blue Sharks was our very own Miss West Africa International Queen Vanny Reis, who got a few pictures with Cape Verde's new stars.

Erica Lima proved to be everyones favourite in a joyful moment in Cape Verde, Mindelo. This beautiful lady proved to be the best contender and a great follow up to Vanny Reis, Miss West Africa International and former Miss West Africa Cape Verde. 1ST Runners up was Keila Ferreira and 2nd Runnrers up was Edna Lopes.
