Maria Sawaneh Scoops The Title of All Titles - Behold Miss West Africa International IV

There is a new MISS WEST AFRICA INTERNATIONAL QUEEN, Her Name is Mariah Sewenah, and she is Gambian, based in Germany. Her schedule is looking very busy already. Get ready 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In an incredible night at the National Auditorium in Cape Verde, after a hotly contested event, the judges came to their decision a few hours ago and announced to the World the result for Miss West Africa International 2013: 2nd Runner-up was HAWA KAMARA ( MWA Sierra Leone)
1st Runner-up was ZALIA MAIGA (MWA Mali)
and the New Miss West Africa International is MARIA SAWANEH (MWA Germany, representing Gambia)

A company that has no record in sponsoring pageants but tipped their hat off when they heard Miss West Africa was coming to Cape Verde. We thank Unitel T+ for making Miss West Africa IV (Queen of Tourist Treasure) a reality, it was only courtesy our girls paid them a visit.

Miss West Africa Belgium 2013, Thioro Diop is Discovered - And She Is From Senegal

Congratulations to Thioro Diop (Senegal) elected Miss West Africa Belgium 2013, also to 1st Runner-up Bintou Barry (Guinea) and the 2nd Runner-up Marième Diallo (Senegal). Congratulations also to Miss Public Christina Meert (Benin). Due to the timing of the event, the beautiful Thioro Diop will not be participating in the 'Queen Of Tourist Treasure' event, Miss West Africa IV next week, instead she will participate in the follow up event, Miss West Africa V in 2014.

We say weldone to the organisers and Congratulations also to all the other contestants, it was an amazing night!

Miss West Africa UK stars on the red carpet before she flies to Cape Verde

Mercy Ukor graced the red carpet last Saturday 9th March, when she was invited to the glittering premiere at the Cafe Royal Hotel of the fashion film My Name is W - the fashion film based on designer Danish Wakeel's collection. Attended by many top fashion industry people, Miss west Africa UK, alongside her manager Bridgette Chalu had a fantastic evening at what will be her last public appearance before jetting off to Cape Verde to compete at Miss West Africa International 2013.

Miss West Africa Cameroon - working hard to promote her local charities

The beautiful and charitable Miss West Africa Cameroon Josette Mbachan has been very busy travelling through Cameroon on her humanitarian work as she prepares to represent Cameroon at the Miss West Africa International Final in Cape Verde this March 23rd. She is rounding up her work this week at Dorcas Orphanage, but has also visited BUEA Regional Hospital Africa, Hotpec Orphanage, and Bulu Blind centre in recent weeks.
