Nina Comes to Afrobana Canada

English: Miss West Africa Canada, Nina Erhabor, is currently preparing for Afrobana 2011 on November 19 at the Wenjack Theater of Trent University. Afrobana is a showcase and celebration of the African and Caribbean culture present at Trent and is hosted by the Trent African and Caribbean Students' Union (TACSU).

As TACSU's fourth year representative and recipient of the 2011 Spirit Award, Nina continues to dedicate an extensive amount of time to this organisation. Although she is participating in dancehall and wetern urban pieces, she is also assisting in the organisation and choreography for a West African piece that showcases our wonderful culture through music, clothing and dance.

Francais: Miss Afrique de l'Ouest Canada, Nina Erhabor, se prépare actuellement pour Afrobana 2011 Novembre 19 à la Theater Wenjack de l'Université Trent. Afrobana est une vitrine et la célébration de l'actuelle culture africaine et des Caraïbes à Trent et est hébergé par la Banque africaine Trent et l'Union des étudiants des Caraïbes »(TACSU).

Nina a été représentante TACSU pour quatre ans, et également récipiendaire du Prix 2011 Esprit. Elle continue à consacrer une grande quantité de temps à cette organisation. Elle participe au dancehall et wetern morceaux urbains, mais aussi d'aider à l'organisation et la chorégraphie pour un morceau d'Afrique occidentale qui met en valeur notre culture à travers la musique merveilleuse, l'habillement et la danse.

Nouveau / New Look For Nina Erharbor (Miss West Africa Canada 2010)

English: Nina Erhabor rocks her new look and was invited to participate in a photography project by Canadian photographer Ayo. This was a project featured in Canada's oldest city, Oshawa.

French: Nina Erhabor montre son nouveau look et a été invité à participer à un projet photographique par le photographe canadien, Ayo. Ce fut un projet mettant en vedette la plus ancienne ville du Canada, Oshawa.

Portugues: Nina Erhabor mostra seu novo visual e foi convidado a participar de um projeto de fotografia pelo fotógrafo canadense, Ayo. Este foi um projeto que caracteriza a cidade mais antiga do Canadá, Oshawa.

Miss West Africa Canada 2010 is Crowned

Nina Erhabor is Miss West Africa Canada 2010 and also the first discovered queen in the running for Miss West Africa International 2011 in December 2011 to take place in Ghana.

In a very exciteful moment, the Nigerian born pageant swooped the Miss West Africa Canada crown and title amongst many, with 1st runners up Rita K. from Ivory Coast, Cote D'Viore. The beauty pageant is now set to be the 1st African beauty pageant in Canada with international recognition, giving us the first Beauty Queen to enter into the runnings for Miss West Africa International.
