African Fashion Day takes place on the 1st Saturday of Every August.It's a day for people in Africa and around the world to celebrate and express African Fashion whether it be from West, Central, East or Southern Africa. It was launched by Shireen Benjamin (Miss West Africa International 09-10) alongside Miss West Africa ltd, during her fashion campaign 'African Music for Fashion'. African Fashion Day is set to create a day where Africans and friends of Africa can express and expose their interest in African fashion. Above all, this is a fun day for us all to explore the variety of beautiful colours, styles and fabrics in our wardrobes......
