Ghana's Independence Celebration: All the Action is in Takoradi!

If you're in Ghana, and you're wondering where to be for the Independence celebration (between 5 and 6th March) then 'no shakes' ASABAAKO is the 'newest thing in town'.
What makes it even more interesting, is the fact that, all the fun and action would be happening away from the capital city (Accra)! Takoradi will be bursting with fun and I'm looking forward to it... ;)

ASABAAKO! translates as "One Dance" in Akan (a local dialect in Ghana) - in essence, the coming together of people to dance 'the same dance' in unity. The festival will feature 3 days of live music and DJs on Busua Beach, in the Western Region of Ghana.

Main Event: Sundays 6TH March, Independence Day, Featuring some of Ghana's favorite 'culture inclined' music artiste.

TALIB KWELI
WANLOV THE KUBOLOR
YAA PONO
...and others yet to confirm

It's gonna be fun...away from the capital; Accra. I'm getting ready to go and get some more of Wanluv the Kubolor into me!! ''This is very Kokonsa''
